DACC Online Quality Assurance Team


Mission:

To provide personalized support to each division in utilizing the DACC Online Course Checklist for the purpose of increasing awareness of online best practices and improving the quality of online course design and delivery.

Goals :

  1. To increase student satisfaction and persistence, it is recommended that course design consistency exists between all courses offered at DACC. The utilization of the DACC Online Course Checklist will provide this consistency.
  2. To increase quality and consistency across courses, it is recommended that every course offered at DACC has a lead instructor.

TEAM MEMBERS

Online Quality Assurance Director:   Lead the college in directing all online and remote technology course offerings with a focus on providing support and training to faculty. Our Director of Online Quality Assurance is Dr. Kathryn Achen. 

Online Quality Assurance Faculty Council Committee:   A faculty council committee with representation of all online teaching and learning stakeholders at DACC serving in an advisory capacity.

Online Quality Assurance Division Team Members:   Faculty member(s) selected by each division to assist their division based on their advanced level of expertise and experience in online course design and delivery.
