Comfort Casita Food Pantry
DACC's in-house food pantry provides free supplementary food assistance to current DACC students, staff and faculty. This food is intended to lessen the burden of the growing economic challenges our community faces. We hope this food will support our student retention, academic success and overall well- being. We ask each visit you bring a reusable bag and have your Aggie ID number available. ,

Tuesday 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

What to know before you come
The Comfort Casita and AVANZA staff are thrilled to announce the launch of our new check-out system!
New Registration is required even if you have visited the Comfort Casita before.
Please take the time to do this before our open hours to help reduce your first checkout time.
Steps:
- Go to the website - https://app.pantrysoft.com/login/daccnmsu
- Create an Account and Sign up
- Log in and complete the registration
- Come once weekly if needed during open hours below (no need to schedule)– Please bring your Aggie ID and a reusable bag

Eligibility
Students
• Must be currently enrolled in at least one DACC course or a DACC adult education course.
• Students may receive Comfort Casita items once weekly.
• Students who go more than twice monthly will be referred to the AVANZA program for additional resources and support
• The students themselves must be present to receive items
• Must provide Student ID or other identifying information at the time of visit to properly track student visits.
Faculty/Staff
• Faculty/Staff may receive Comfort Casita items once monthly.
In order to ensure DACC Comfort Casita complies with the Basic Needs Grant, we must enforce the eligibility requirements. All non-DACC students, faculty and staff will be referred to food resources within our community.
