Welcome! The DACC Academic Advising Center seeks to assist and challenge all students to become active and effective agents of their own learning in an environment where they feel safe and supported. Our goal is to help all students develop skills and knowledge that can lead them to identify, plan and achieve educational goals aligned with their values and career aspirations.

During most of the year (February-July, and September-December) DACC academic advisors meet with students on an appointment basis. During the months of January and August, DACC academic advisors meet with students exclusively on a drop-in basis. No appointment necessary.
First, identify your academic advisor according to your major, go to Who is My Advisor?, then download the Navigate Student App or go to nmsu.navigate.eab.com and log in with your nmsu credentials to make an appointment with them. Appointments are available in-person, virtually by Zoom or Teams, or by phone.
In response to high demand, DACC academic advisors will be serving students on a first-come, first-serve, drop-in basis during the entire months of January and August. Academic advisors will not be scheduling student appointments during these two months to accommodate drop-ins only. To identify your academic advisor according to your major, go to Who is My Advisor?
