Academic Advisor Availability

During most of the year (February-July, and September-December) DACC academic advisors meet with students on an appointment basis. During the months of January and August, DACC academic advisors meet with students exclusively on a drop-in basis. No appointment necessary.

How to Make an Appointment

First, identify your academic advisor according to your major, go to Who is My Advisor?, then download the Navigate Student App or go to nmsu.navigate.eab.com and log in with your nmsu credentials to make an appointment with your advisor.  Appointments are available in-person, virtually by Zoom, or by phone.

January and August Drop-In Advising

In response to high demand, DACC academic advisors will be serving students on a first-come, first-serve, drop-in basis during the entire months of January and August. Academic advisors will not be scheduling student appointments during these two months to accommodate drop-ins only. To identify your academic advisor according to your major, go to Who is My Advisor?

Remote students are welcome to call or email their academic advisor for assistance using the DACC Phonebook for contact information. Please note that academic advisors will assist students during January and August on a first-come, first-serve basis.
