In addition to supporting institutional learning outcomes and building upon the foundational general education outcomes, upon completion of this program students will be able to:
- Patient Centered Care:
Provide care that is respectful of, and responsive to, individual patient or designee preferences, needs, and values, and ensuring that patient values guide all patient care decisions.
- Teamwork and Collaboration:
Function effectively within the medical assistant and inter-professional teams, demonstrating professional and open communication, respect, and shared decision making in providing the patients care.
- Evidence Based Practice (EBP):
Provide patient care in accordance with regulations polices, laws, and patient rights for optimal health care.

Provide patient care that will enhance workflow, reduce errors, and streamline patient care.
- Safety:
Applying concepts of patient and personal safety performance to minimize risk of harm to patients and providers.
- Informatics:
Navigate and utilize information and technology to reduce redundancy and improve delivery of care for patients and healthcare agencies."
