New Alert System

On January 2025, NMSU transitioned to a new Emergency Notification System—AggieAlert—to enhance communication and safety across our community.

How to Access & Update Your Settings:

  • Students with Aggie IDs & Employees: Log in via Single Sign-On using your myNMSU credentials.
  • Students without Aggie IDs, Family Members, & Others: Create an account by selecting “Sign Up” at the top right of the AggieAlert portal.
  • Select Services verify and update your preferred contact information .
  • Select Groups to verify and subscribe to the groups you wish to receive notifications for.

Mobile App Access:

  • After logging into the AggieAlert portal, you can download the Omnilert Subscriber Safety App from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
  • Note: You must update your contact preferences through the portal, as the mobile app does not support updates.
  • Use the access code found in your AggieAlert portal registration to activate the app.
