About DACC Counselor Yolanda:

I have 34 years’ experience in the field of mental health and addictions. I am trained in many different therapy styles that are considered to be very helpful, and effective in helping people resolve their issues and heal their emotional pain and personal trauma.  I am a real person who really does care about others, and I can offer therapy for change or just listen and be real with people.  Offering people counseling and support services is a passion and a calling, (not a job for me). I am also bilingual, English/ Spanish and can offer counseling to those whose first language is Spanish so they can access their emotions without having to struggle with second language issues.
