What is Achieving the Dream (AtD)?
Achieving the Dream is a networking organization who work with community colleges as a partner and champion of student success. They provide tailored support for transformational change in the areas of data and technology, equity, teaching and learning, engagement and communication, strategy and planning, policies and practices, and leadership and vision. AtD works with 300 community colleges in 45 states.

What is DACC’s affiliation with Achieving the Dream?
DACC is part of the AtD network. We have been a “network college” from 2004-2009, 2011-present, and recognized as a “leader college” 2009-2019. We have been affiliated with AtD for about 20 years.
AtD provides network colleges with expert coaches, a national peer network, current resources, and innovative professional learning opportunities to propel student success efforts at their institution. In recent years, our AtD coaches, Dr. Mary Fifield and Daryl Davis have visited our campus and facilitated college-wide professional development and discussions.
