My role as a social worker at Dona Ana Community College has combined two of my passions, helping others and my love of learning. As an alumnus of New Mexico State University and a current DACC student, both places that can be hard to navigate, I can help students have a more fulfilling experience during their time here.
Some of the areas I can offer support include locating resources such as childcare, food resources, housing supports, utility/rent assistance, etc. If I don’t have an answer, I will find the right person to help you. My favorite parts are being able to help students by sharing my experiences and being able to communicate to them that they have a huge support network and a ton of resources available to them here at DACC.
