Renee Malooly

My master’s degree in Rhetoric & Writing Studies brought me to the field of college instruction, leading me to a full-time position at DACC in 2023. I enjoy teaching all areas of English, from composition to technical writing and literature. My passion for curriculum design inspires me to create engaging courses that help students achieve success, and I believe the learning journey is most meaningful when students bring their identities into the educational space. My research focuses on gamification strategies, creative assignments, and adapting to various course modalities. As a creative thinker, I use data to drive unique and effective course delivery. 

Outside of teaching, I draw inspiration from the world around me through travel and cultural experiences. A pop culture enthusiast, I enjoy thrilling movies, attending live concerts, or cooking my favorite meals.
