Biography
Nathaly Herrera was born in El Paso, TX and raised in Sunland Park, NM. She obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree in English from NMSU. Nathaly has been teaching at DACC since 2008. She is involved with the Academic Readiness Center, Vox Writing Magazine, and the Cultural Diversity committee. Areas of interest include border studies, pop culture rhetoric, and assessment feedback. Her hobbies are taking road trips, streaming shows and movies, reading, watching YouTube videos, and shopping. Nathaly’s favorite class to teach is CCDE 110 General Composition, and she also teaches English 1110 Composition I, English 2210 Professional and Technical Communication, and English 2221 Writing in the Humanities and Social Sciences.
