Center for Student Accessibility Services (SAS)

Provides support for students with disabilities that impact academic and personal success, including obtaining evaluations and accommodations, providing adaptive equipment, advocating in the classroom, accommodated testing, and resolving problems associated with physical disabilities and access. ASL (American Sign Language) Interpreters, Counselors, and Social Workers are provided through SAS – for free!

DACC Counseling Services

Free counseling and support services for students, staff, and faculty provided by bilingual English/Spanish Licenses Counselor, Yolanda Atencio. Counselling sessions can address personalized barriers, emotional support, mental health, mental wellness, crisis management, stress relief, self-care, and more.

Social Work Services

Assists students with locating resources at DACC and in the community, including childcare, food security, safe housing, utility/rent assistance, emergency funding, and more. DACC’s Social Work Services provide expert support for all students regardless of their needs or situation.
