Important Forms

Compliance Information
Stay informed and compliant. Access required training and institutional policies, including Conflict of Interest guidelines, SET Training, and Title IX.
Conflict of Interest
Each academic year, faculty are required to complete a Conflict of Interest form. This form ensures that there are no actual or perceived conflicts between your responsibilities and any outside employment, consulting, financial interests, or professional affiliations. The purpose of the form is to promote transparency and protect both the employee and the institution. Disclosing potential conflicts does not automatically indicate a problem; rather, it allows the college to review and address any situations that could influence—or appear to influence—professional judgment or decision-making. Faculty should complete this requirement promptly each year to remain in compliance with institutional policy.
SET Training
Each year, faculty members are required to complete Strategic & Essential Training (SET). New Mexico State University is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and equitable workplace, and SET helps ensure that all employees understand their job-related responsibilities. These mandatory trainings address topics required by state and federal law, as well as university policy. Completing SET on time is an important part of remaining in compliance and supporting a professional, ethical work environment. Faculty will receive notifications when trainings are available and should complete all assigned modules by the required deadlines.
Title IX New Mexico State University’s NMSU Office of Institutional Equity
provides a formal process for reporting concerns related to Title IX and other civil rights protections. Faculty should submit a report if they become aware of incidents involving discrimination, sexual misconduct (including sexual violence), sex discrimination, sexual harassment, or retaliation.
Reporting helps ensure that concerns are reviewed promptly and addressed in accordance with university policy and federal law. Faculty are considered responsible employees and are required to report certain disclosures, even if a student does not wish to pursue formal action. When in doubt, it is best to submit a report or consult the Office of Institutional Equity for guidance.
