To ensure a safe and enjoyable learning/working environment for all, we kindly remind everyone to adhere to the guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Isolation and Precautions for People with COVID-19 | CDC 

Here are some key reminders:

1. Hygiene Practices:
  • Wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Use hand sanitizer stations available throughout the campus.
2. Vaccination:
  • Get vaccinated if you haven't already. Vaccination is a powerful tool in preventing severere illness and reducing the spread of the virus.
  • Stay informed about booster shot recommendations as they evolve. DACC often hosts vaccination events for FLU and COVID.
3. Health Monitoring:
  • Stay home if you are feeling unwell or exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms.
  • Follow college protocols for reporting symptoms and seeking guidance on testing.
4. Face Coverings:
  • Follow any specific mask requirements outlined by CDC and our college in certain settings.
5. Communication:
  • Stay informed about any updates or changes in college policies related to COVID-19.
  • Reach out to college staff or faculty if you have questions or concerns.

Remember that by following these guidelines, you are not only protecting yourself but also contributing to the well-being of our entire community. We appreciate your cooperation and commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
