The Science Department offers a variety of science classes that cover 8 disciplines, ASTR, BIOL, C S, CHEM, GEOG, GEOL, NUTR, and PHYS. These courses include laboratories at multiple satellite campuses - Espina Central Campus, East Mesa Campus, Gadsden Center, and Sunland Park Center. Our classes partially fulfill the requirements of the following programs:
The Science Department also offers an Associate of Science degree, which is designated to ease transfer to four-year colleges and universities. In most cases, the credits you earn may be applied toward a bachelor's degree offered at a college or a university such as NMSU. In addition, students can enroll in these Science courses to fulfill the General Education course requirement in their given program/degree.
