Summer Resources for Students

June 23rd, 2026

Students at Doña Ana Community College (DACC) are reminded that several resources remain available over the summer break.
Students continue to have access to several support services if needed. These include the free online healthcare TimelyCare, and the college’s free food pantry, the FirstLight Comfort Casita.
TimelyCare offers free health and mental health support. It is a virtual health and well-being platform that connects students to licensed providers at any time from a phone, tablet, or computer. Services include:
  • 24/7 on-demand medical care for common illnesses and health concerns
  • Mental health support, including counseling and emotional well-being resources
  • Health coaching for nutrition, sleep, stress management, and healthy habits
  • Psychiatric services (by appointment)
  • Self-care content and wellness tools
Students are encouraged to access TimelyCare through the app or with their credentials at mynmsu.edu
The college’s food pantry, the FirstLight Comfort Casita, remains open for those in need of groceries or household supplies. The pantry supports students experiencing food insecurity. Summer hours until August 6th are:
  • Tuesday: 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
To use the pantry, students must be enrolled in one course at the college, bring their student ID and a re-usable bag. The Comfort Casita is located at the DACC Espina campus, 3400 S. Espina, inside Alex Sanchez Hall. The college also has micro-casitas at each campus and center. For more information on the food pantry and locations, go to FirstLight Comfort Casita.
