Students in Doña Ana Community College (DACC)’s Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program are selling raffle tickets to help raise funds for an upcoming conference.
The students are fundraising to attend the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) conference this September in Atlanta, Georgia. They are raffling the following items:

Grand prize: Lifetime 10 ft kayak with a waterproof bag

Backpack cooler with Stanley water bottles

Tanning pool with beach towel

Plus, additional prizes including auto cleanings
Tickets are $5 each, $20 for five tickets, or $50 for 20 tickets. They can be purchased from any DACC Sonography student or instructor at the Espina Campus, 3400 S. Espina, in the Health and Public Services Building, also known as DAHL, in room 190. Tickets can be purchased Thursday, July 2nd or Monday, July 6th by 2 p.m. The drawing date is Monday, July 6th, and winners will be personally contacted.
The SDMS conference is for sonographers, sonography students, and physicians who use sonography in their practice setting. Attendees will earn SDMS CME credits while learning about new sonographic techniques, diagnostic accuracy, enhancements of sonographic instrumentation, and practice management strategies.
