Doña Ana Community College (DACC)'s 24th annual golf tournament raised scholarships for several college students.
The tournament, held Friday, October 9th at the New Mexico State University (NMSU) golf course, raised funds to provide $1,000 each to 10 students, and provide financial support to the college's food pantry, The FirstLight Federal Credit Union's Comfort Casita.
The scholarships will assist students with funds for college by removing financial barriers and providing them with motivation to continue their educational journey. The college's food pantry provides food and other basic need items to students at no charge. The main pantry is located at the Espina Campus, 3400 S. Espina St., and micro-casitas can be found at all other DACC campuses and centers.
