GO Bond 3 Would Support Campus Expansion

October 23rd, 2026

Doña Ana Community College (DACC) could receive around $4 million to expand a south campus if voters approve a bond during this election cycle.

If General Obligation Bond 3 is approved, DACC's Sunland Park Center, 3365 McNutt Rd., will receive $4 million for an expansion of an additional 7,900 square feet and renovation to current space. This will support the center's nursing and health programs where growth continues in that area. The purpose of the expansion will contribute to student success, growth in enrollment, and workforce development.

The GO Bond does not increase tax rates. Election day is Tuesday, November 3rd with early voting currently in place. Expanded early voting sites run through Saturday, October 31st from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. (except Sunday and Monday). Three of DACC's campuses and centers are serving as polling sites:

  • East Mesa campus, Student Resources Building (DASR) 2800 Sonoma Ranch Blvd., in Las Cruces, NM
  • Sunland Park center, 3365 McNutt Rd., in Sunland Park, NM
  • Chaparral center, 755 Prescott Anthony Dr., in Chaparral, NM
