Doña Ana Community College (DACC) is hosting a free school supplies drive next weekend for the upcoming school year.
The college, along with Bravo Mic Communications and Nusenda Credit Union, is holding the Stuff the Bus school supplies drive on Saturday, July 11th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the East Mesa campus, 2800 Sonoma Ranch Blvd., inside the Student Resources Building.
The college is still collecting school supplies for Las Cruces Public School students and teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. Donations can be dropped off at the DACC Workforce Center, 2345 E. Nevada, in office 100B.
Suggested supplies include: deodorant, toothbrushes/toothpaste, feminine products, travel-size laundry detergent, #2 pencils & sharpeners, mechanical pencils, pens (blue, black, and red), pink erasers, crayons, glue, folders, spiral notebooks, backpacks, paper, scissors, tissues, rulers, protractors, markers, colored pencils, flash drives, rulers, pencil bags, binders, dividers, and combination locks.
