Doña Ana Community College (DACC) is doing its part to help prevent suicide through a run/walk.
The college’s Student Government Association is hosting a Suicide Prevention 5k Walk & Run to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention. The event will be held on Saturday, October 4th at 9 a.m. at the Espina campus, 3400 S. Espina Street. Check-in begins at 8 a.m.
Pre-registration cost for the race is $20. DACC students are free. The cost for the run increases to $30 the day of the event. The first 100 participants will receive a free T-shirt.
