DACC Offers Basic Computer Courses

Doña Ana Community College (DACC) Workforce Development & Career Readiness is offering introductory computer classes to the public.  

Registration for classes in both Essential Computer Skills and Essential Software Skills is now open. The courses are held at an easy pace and assist in building a foundation for computer skills. Courses also can assist job seekers who may lack the digital literacy skills needed to seek, obtain, and retain employment, and perform other daily life tasks.  

Classes are $45 per week and will be offered the following dates from 5 to 7 p.m.:    

— Essential Computer Skills (Windows, basic computer skills, e-mail, internet) 
  • February 5 – 8   
  • April 8 - 11 
  • June 3 – 6 
  • September 9 – 12 
— Essential Software Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point, Google Docs)
  • February 19 – 22 
  • April 22 – 25 
  • June 17 – 20  
  • September 23 – 26
