Virtual Reality Partnership for DACC

VR First initiative has announced plans to collaborate with twelve new academic institutions around the world including the Creative Media Technology Program (CMT) at Doña Ana Community College (DACC) as the demand for dedicated VR learning facilities at colleges and universities continues to grow.

DACC is the only community college named in this group to partner with VR First.

“This is great news for our students and our college,” said Matt Byrnes, Director of the CMT program. “We will now have the newest equipment for our students to work on using top of the line products such as CRYENGINE and state of the art VR hardware.”

VR First has now formed partnerships with 26 colleges and universities since launching at the start of this year. Every VR First partner institution will initiate a VR First Lab on their campus, giving students access to the latest VR development tools and guidance from a network of business and technology leaders.
