Extended Hours for Registration

To make registration as easy as possible, Doña Ana Community College (DACC) will be open several Saturdays and hold extended hours in August so students can attend classes this fall.

“It is important to remain accessible to all of our current and potential students,” said Vice President of Student Services Ike Ledesma. “We look forward to having a great school year and invite students to come and see which classes and financial aid options are right for them.”

The East Mesa Campus and Gadsden Learning Center will be open Saturday, August 6, and Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Additionally, the East Mesa Campus will have extended hours from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the week of August 15 (Monday through Friday).

“Many of our students work or have responsibilities during the week so these hours will help give them an opportunity to register for school,” Ledesma said. “With a credential or degree many doors will be open to students that may be closed now.”

DACC offers 41 different associate degrees and credentials for careers or lead to advanced educational degrees. With several campuses and learning centers throughout Doña Ana County, the college is part of the New Mexico State University System.

The East Mesa Campus is located at 2800 Sonoma Ranch Blvd in Las Cruces and the Gadsden Learning Center is located at 1700 E. O’Hara Road in Anthony, NM.
