Students may obtain a general office assistant certificate of completion and Microsoft Office Specialist industry certifications in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook in as little as one year and then begin earning money while studying for their associate degree.
By studying a second year toward the associate of applied science degree in Office Administration Technology, you can prepare for a more challenging position as either a general administrative assistant, accounting assistant, or medical office assistant. You will learn to use up-to-date technology, become familiar with various up-to-date software applications, and become proficient in a specific area of study.
Graduates of the program are prepared for various administrative positions such as office managers, executive assistants, and administrative coordinators in diverse settings like corporate offices, government agencies, and medical offices.
