Health Career Industry Certifications


Comprehensive short-term programs prepare students for careers in the health care industry. 


Pharmacy Technician Certification is a 10-week program that prepares students to work as a pharmacy technicion in a variety of settings. Learn Medical Terminology,  the history of pharmacy, the pharmacy practice in multiple environments, pharmacy calculations and measurements, reading and interpreting prescriptions, and defining drugs by generic and brand names, dosage calculations, drug classifcations and more. Prepare to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board PTCB exam (CPTE). 

Overview of Schedule:

  • Asynchronous (on your own) time = 15-17 hrs per week. Activities include Reading, Assignments, Study, Review, Tests/Quizzes
  • Synchronous Tutoring/Office Hours (Zoom Tutoring Sessions 1-2 hours per week.)
  • Individual consultations with the Instructor and Individual sessions with our Job Coach
  • Internship (20-25 hours, unpaid) additional fees will apply

Program Cost: $1575

Please note: the total online course cost is $1575, with a $200 application fee required to reserve a seat in class. Once the application fee is received, a balance of $1375 will be added to your invoice, with 80% of the balance due before the course start date ($1100).
