What does LDB do?
Locks the testing environment to prevent printing, copying, or accessing other applications during assessments.



Installation & Setup

Download NMSU's installer and follow the on-screen instructions. Select your operating system (Windows or Mac) and install the software. Use a personal or lab computer if needed.


Taking Exams in LDB

  1. Close all open programs or applications.
  2. Open LockDown Browser (FIRST!) on your computer.
  3. Log in to Canvas.
  4. Go to the course and exam.
  5. Complete and submit the exam.
  6. Log out and close LockDown Browser.
