Amy Myers, MPH (she/her/hers)
Hello, everyone! Originally hailing from Pecos, TX, I proudly consider myself a Texan at heart and a New Mexican by choice. As a first-generation Hispanic student, I earned my associate's degree from DACC and went on to achieve both my bachelor's and master's degrees from New Mexico State University. My experiences at DACC inspired a deep desire to give back to the community, and I was thrilled when the opportunity arose to join the DACC work community. My daily motivation comes from a passionate commitment to helping students succeed. It's truly special to my heart to demonstrate that individuals can overcome challenges and achieve success.
During my leisure hours, you will discover me enjoying moments with my family and our assortment of pets. My companions include dogs, turtles, and chinchillas, and I anticipate my list of furry friends expanding soon. I have a deep affection for the outdoors and cherish spending quality time with individuals, offering them the opportunity to share their stories. I passionately believe in the importance of attentive listening to continually grow and learn from others' experiences.
