Social Work at DACC: Here to Help You Thrive

Life Happens, We're Here to Help

College can be tough, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. College isn’t just about classes—it’s about navigating life’s challenges while working toward your goals. That’s where DACC Social Work comes in! Whether you’re juggling school, work, and personal life or facing unexpected obstacles, we’re here to connect you with the resources and support you need to succeed.

How Can We Help You?

Our social worker, Monica deHerrera-Pardo, works with students, faculty, and staff to find solutions and provide support, including:

  • Finding housing or food assistance
  • Accessing financial aid and community resources
  • Navigating personal or academic crises
  • Getting support for mental health or wellness challenges

No problem is too big or small—if it’s keeping you from reaching your potential, we’re here to help you move forward.
