Our social worker, Monica deHerrera-Pardo, works with students, faculty, and staff to find solutions and provide support, including: 

• Finding housing or food assistance
• Accessing financial aid and community resources
• Navigating personal or academic crises
• Getting support for mental health or wellness challenges

Child Care Support at DACC

Finding reliable child care can be challenging, but we’re here to help! Through the New Mexico Early Childhood Education & Care Department (ECECD) Universal Application, families can access affordable, high-quality child care options and financial assistance programs.

What We Offer:

• Navigation & Referrals: Assistance finding licensed child care providers in your area.
• Subsidy Guidance: Help applying for CYFD child care assistance and other programs.
• Community Connections: Links to local resources for additional family support.
• Campus Support: Information about student-parent resources and child-friendly spaces at DACC.
