Trevas Younger

In 2015 Younger sought the assistance of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) training and counseling for the purchase of The Heritage, an Independent Living Assistance business. She expanded in 2019 providing an additional 16 beds. 

While business declined due to COVID, she has continued to seek the assistance of the SBDC to retain her 32 employees. Trevas provides quality housing and services for the elderly, she focuses on engaged, person-centered care.  Trevas has had to implement many COVID-19 new and extreme safety protocols quickly to keep residents and staff safe.  She serves on the Assisted Living Task Force for the American Center for Assisted Living.
