Karl has achieved multiple professional achievements in the field of nursing. He has assisted and managed difficulty emergent and critical care situations by employing quick saving interventions for patients, increased staff and patient motivation, and provides extensive mentoring and leadership to new graduate nurses. He has led hospital care initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and safety standards, and improved hospital and Intensive Care Unit service and overall quality standards. He has received Memorial Medical Centers Daisy Achievement Award multiple times.
Karl has volunteered his services to the community by: Going beyond the bedside of nursing. Karl works as a volunteer for Children Works, as well as with disadvantaged children from Juarez Mexico to provide items, wellness checks and other crucial services to underprivileged children. He also volunteers for fitness and nutrition education, and works with adults to provide health, exercise and nutrition education. Karl also mentors adults by hosting a health and wellness clinic challenge yearly.
