I am 37 years old, married to Enrique Gonzales and have 3 children; Christopher age 19, Angel age 16, and Cathryn age 13. My son is currently attending DACC for an Associate of Arts Degree. My husband was hurt while in the military and we were forced to move back to NM from Virginia where we were stationed. I have held many jobs from being a baker, correction officer, to now a wildlife biologist. My parents have always supported me and watched over my children while attending school and working. My family is my backbone to what I am now today, without them it would of been very difficult. DACC was a great and important stepping stone to what I have become today. The professors and staff members were very patient and cared about the student. The Hispanic Society is a wonderful program and I encourage people to join.
