Erika graduated from Doña Ana Community College (DACC) in 2015 with an AAS in Computer Technology and continued her education at NMSU and New Mexico Tech. In 2018, she began her career at Sandia National Laboratories. She became the Information System Security Manager with “Cyber” for the Science Applications International Corporation in March 2020.
While a student, Erika served in student government, was a tutor, a Girl Scouts Unit Leader, and LCPS substitute teacher. She received an Alliance for Minority Participation and a Grace Hopper Conference Scholarship, as well as a summer internship with Deutsche Bank.
