Federal regulations require all students receiving financial aid to meet Satisfactory Academic Progress. The DACC Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships will review all financial aid recipients at the end of each academic semester. The review will measure both qualitative (GPA) and quantitative (completion rate) standards.

DisbursementFinancial aid is disbursed to student accounts the Monday before classes start to pay off account charges. The schedule breaks down when disbursement and refunds are processed.

Student Rights & ResponsibilitiesAll borrowers have rights and responsibilities when borrowing federal direct loans. Borrowers are encouraged to contact their loan servicer for all repayment options.

Charges & PaymentsOur campus partner, the University Accounts Receivable Office (UAR) oversees student charges, payment plan options, Proxy, and Direct Deposit.

Return of Title IVStudents who receive financial aid funds and subsequently withdraw from the same term (for any reason) should be aware of the repercussions withdrawing will have.

Verification PolicyDACC adheres to the following verification principles developed by the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) to ensure that funds are awarded to eligible students in an equitable and consistent manner.

Consumer Information A school must annually provide a notice directly to all enrolled students describing the availability of the required consumer information.
