Admission Requirements

In order to be considered for the Respiratory Therapy Program, applicants must submit a completed application (available from DAHL 190, or from the home page)by May 1st for entry to the following Fall semester. The following are required of all students applying for the Respiratory Therapy Program:

*Respiratory Therapy does not require TEAS entry testing or another form of evaluation examination.

  • Cumulative GPA: 3.0
  • Science GPA: 2.7 (see application for more info)
  • MMR Titers
  • Hepatitis B Titers
  • Varicella Titers
  • Tdap titers
  • Completed Application Packet (Resume, Transcripts, Signed Application, Letter of Intent, GPA Worksheets).
Students selected for admission to the program will be expected to attend an orientation session over the summer, and will also be responsible for the following:
  • CPR Certification
  • National Background Check
  • 10-Panel Drug Screen
  • Tuberculin Skin Test
