Required Program Costs (Estimated)

  • Immunizations- PPD (TB must be done yearly), MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Hepatitis B series (costs depends on student’s insurance)
  • Titers for MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B (cost depends on student’s health insurance)
  • Current Health Insurance (price varies;students may qualify to remain on their parents insurance, NMSU offers student insurance, or you may find a good deal privately as well).
  • TEAS test (required to apply to the program, approx. $55)
  • Background Check and Drug Screen: must be repeated in each year of the program (approx. $89 x 2)
  • CPR course (approx. $45)

  • Textbooks (approx. $750)
  • Uniforms: 5 scrubs, 2 lab coats, 2 pairs shoes, name tag, shoulder patches and ID markers (approx. $300-500)
  • Instadose dosimetry badge $240
    • replacement dosimetry badge if damaged $30
  • Graduation fees (approx. $25)
  • National Certification Fees ARRT exam (approx. $250)
  • Temporary state licensing fees after graduation (good for one year): NM $45, TX $103
