Welcome to the Nursing Program at Doña Ana Community College

We are pleased that you have chosen to study nursing and are delighted to have the opportunity to assist in achieving the academic and personal goals of each student. This is an exciting and challenging time to prepare for entry into the practice of nursing. Students are encouraged to work diligently toward their goals to find personal and career fulfillment.

The Nursing program at DACC affords students the opportunity to become Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Registered Nurses (RN), and members of a respected and rewarding profession. Nursing is a dynamic and exciting discipline offering not only the rewarding experiences of helping others achieve their health care goals, but also enabling the nurse to become a part of the rapidly advancing health delivery system of the future.

Dear DACC Community:

The DACC Nursing Program will host an accreditation visit by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) on March 4-6, 2020.
ACEN will be conducting an on-site evaluation of our Associates Degree in Nursing program.

You are invited to meet the site visit team and share your comments about the program in person at a meeting scheduled at 2-3pm on March 5, 2020 in Health Sciences DASH #77, at DACC Espina Campus, 3400 South Espina St, Las Cruces New Mexico 88003.
