Doña Ana Community College (DACC) is seeking input on a draft Facility Master Plan that will provide direction for the community college physical plant for the next 5 years.
“We seek input from the community, faculty, students and staff to plan for improvements to our sites to keep up with the changing needs in higher education and the needs of the Doña Ana County workforce,” DACC Vice President for Finance and Facilities Kelly Brooks said. “Through this process we can continue to provide a safe and comfortable environment for students to learn and reach their academic goals in a functional setting.”
Working together with Architectural Research Consultants, the master plan will provide an analysis of the current and future needs of DACC, including:
- Site and facilities conditions
- How well facilities are utilized
- Facility capacity needs
- Anticipated growth or change
- Facility requirements and capital resources
- Identify space needs for future academic programs
The resulting plan will develop a vision for the future including goals, capital outlay and strategies to accomplish future needs.
The survey is open for comment through June 1, 2018. Community members, businesses and other stakeholders are encouraged to access the survey to provide input for the future of the community college at: https://www.arcforms.info/dacc2018survey/
