Latinos for !Éxito!

Latinos for Exito is a university student leadership organization chartered at New Mexico State University since 2005. The organization’s membership is comprised of ENLACE students from local and neighboring high schools, students in the ENLACE Exito program at the DACC/NMSU, and other college students who aspire to be active leaders in the university and in their community.

At the high schools, Latinos for Exito! college students promote Latino interest in higher education and encourage students to prepare for college. Members of the organization visit the ENLACE high schools and provide information to assist students as they prepare for college. They also assist students as mentors, tutors, and serve as a direct link to the DACC/NMSU as high school students make the transition from high school to college.

At the college level, members of Latinos for Exito! promote leadership opportunities leading to skills development and active leadership involvement in their college and in  their community. They are active members of the NMSU Hispanic Student Council and actively engaged with the ENLACE State Executive team.
