Beginner Courses:

  • Personal Computing and Basic Applications

Everyone was a beginner at one point.  Learn the basics of using a personal computer and the common computer applications of MS Office to increase your employment opportunities and technical skills.  The course covers internet usage, word processing and document creation, spreadsheets, email, and project presentation.  By the end of the course, you will have worked on a resume, a business letter, a simple budget, and set up a profile on an online job board.

MS Office Applications

Face-to-Face Courses:

  • MS Excel 2

Learn more about performing calculations, modifying and formatting a worksheet, working with functions, and working with lists. Course includes teacher demonstration and instruction as well as hands-on practical application using the program. Basic understanding of Excel is required.

  • MS Excel 3

Learn intermediate to advanced functions in MS Excel 2016/365 including analyzing data, visualizing data with charts, using PivotTables and PivotCharts, and sharing and protecting workbooks. Course includes teacher demonstration and instruction as well as in-class practical activities to apply your new knowledge. Beginner to intermediate understanding of Excel required.

  • MS Outlook 2

Take your Outlook skills to the next level! Learn more advanced Outlook functions like organizing, searching, and managing messages, mailbox, calendar settings and scheduling, and Outlook data files. Course includes teacher demonstration and instruction as well as practical application. Experience with Outlook required.
