Science, Engineering and Mathematics



The Science, Engineering and Mathematics Division offers courses in Aerospace Technologies, Astronomy, Biology, Computer Science, Developmental Math, Chemistry, Electronic Technology, General Engineering, Geography, Geology, Nutrition, Manufacturing and Automation, Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics. The courses and programs help students gain skills to enter the workforce, complete courses for transfer programs, and provides students with a foundation for more academic courses.

Division Mission

The Science, Engineering, and Mathematics Division of Doña Ana Community College provides students with a broad selection of courses in the sciences, engineering, mathematics, and technology programs to help students develop fundamental skills for entry into college-level courses, to become professionals in a career field, and to serve as a foundation for transfer to four-year universities. Our students will develop scientific and mathematical literacy in an environment that encourages innovative application of their knowledge in a socially responsible way and will be prepared for lifelong learning.
