Student Achievement

Per the Higher Learning Commission policy (FDCR.A.10.070), DACC posts student retention rates, completion rates, and other information related to our mission and student goals.

Mission, Vision & Principles

Founded in 1973 in collaboration with local school districts to support occupational education, DACC is now a leading community college that provides transformative educational opportunities that meet the transfer and workforce needs of Doña Ana County. With a focus on access, innovation and excellence, DACC offers over ninety degrees and certificates, adult education, specialized workforce training, and small business assistance.  DACC alumni are academically and professionally skilled, valued by transfer institutions and industry leaders.

Student Right-to-Know

Federal legislation relating to student consumer rights requires all institutions participating in Federal student assistance programs to compile and publish completion and graduation rates. The information-gathering requirements are contained in legislation known as the Student Right-To-Know and Campus Security Act as amended by the Higher Education Technical Amendments of 1991. To read more about the Student Right-to-Know Act, please visit the National Center for Education Statistics website at http://nces.ed.gov.

DACC College Scorecard

The College Scorecard is an online tool, created by the United States government, for consumers to compare the cost and value of higher education institutions in the United States. It displays data in five areas: cost, graduation rate, employment rate, average amount borrowed, and loan default rate.

Institutional Student Success Report

The DACC Institutional Student Success Report (ISSR), focused on DACC degree-seeking students, is produced by the IA office annual and is produced shortly after the Fall census date. The data respond to questions regarding persistence, retention, annual credit hour completion, developmental education completion, gateway course completion, graduation rates and transfer rates.
