Are you undecided about what to major in? Does your employer require an associate degree? Are you interested in obtaining a high quality education at affordable prices?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then the Associate of Arts or the Associate of Science Degree at Doña Ana Community College may be the answer.

Transferring to a Four-Year Institution

Both the Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degree programs are designed to ease transfer to four-year colleges and universities. In most cases, the credits you earn may be applied toward a bachelor’s degree offered at a college or a university such as NMSU.

The Learning Environment

You will learn from expert instructors in small classes where individual attention is highly valued. The college offers well-equipped laboratories and classrooms.

DACC provides an outstanding learning environment. As part of a diverse student body, you will gain valuable insights into other cultures and viewpoints—an important asset in any career.

You will take part in class discussions and be challenged to question, to analyze, and to think critically.

Students find the learning environment at DACC to be stimulating and supportive, as well as flexible. You can select from traditional classes and/or alternative formats, such as online, evening, weekend, and accelerated classes. High school students may qualify to participate in our dual-enrollment program and begin earning credit toward an associate degree while simultaneously satisfying requirements for high school graduation.

Advantages of Being a DACC Student

In addition to small class size, excellent instructors, and affordable tuition, DACC offers free tutoring in a wide variety of areas, one-on-one advising, free career and counseling services, and financial aid, including opportunities for private scholarships.

Do you like the challenge of exploring new concepts? Would you like to have a better understanding of the arts, our society, or our past? If so, the Associate of Arts may be perfect for you.
