Frequently Asked Questions
- May I show up without registering first?
No. Registering allows me to set up a site for you to practice during the workshop. If you don’t register and just show up you will be holding up the session because I’ll have to use precious session time creating your work environment. Get it?
- Can I change my registration?
Yes. If you are switching from one session to another:
- Send me an email requesting the cancellation.
- Register for a new session after you receive a note from me.
- I don’t have a DACC account, how can I register?
Our WordPress is setup to accept DACC accounts. I realize some individuals –like part-time faculty or students– need access to edit a department website. If this is your case I will create a “local” account to allow you work in WordPress with temporary credentials. When registering please provide your NMSU login username as in email@example.com. You will receive instructions at your NMSU email address.
- I already took it, may I take the workshop again?
Sure, a refreshing course won’t hurt. The Basic workshop does not change much, but the Beyond Basic is constantly evolving, new features and plugins are added every semester.
- I’m unable to take any of these workshops, can I bother you with one-on-one training?
Well, depends. I offer WordPress training two times a year: Fall and Spring. Maybe you can wait until the next session. If you think you need the training ASAP as a matter of life or death, persuade me for a one-on-one session.
Sorry, registration is now closed for Spring 2018.
Stay alert for upcoming workshops in Summer and Fall of 2018.
Thank you for your interest!
