Leading Across Generations

For the first time in history, there are four distinct generations in the workplace.  Participants will learn how to: Gain an understanding of the specific differences between the four generations in today’s workforce, discover how stereotyping hinders communication and engagement, and learn how to conduct a “Whole-Person Engagement Conversation”.

Grant Writing:  Advanced    

This workshop will take an in-depth look at each section of a proposal and discusses the review process.  Participants will also learn what the next steps are.

Grant Writing:  Beginning

The first part of class will help you learn the different ways to research grant opportunities and find out what grant funds are available.  During the second part of the class you will be given an overview of the grant writing process- a review of a request for proposal, discussion of the different parts of the grant proposal and overall do’s and don'ts for proposal preparation.

Indispensable Assistant 

This workshop will provide you with tips and techniques that will make you even more valuable than before.  You will learn key organizational skills such as managing your time and reducing work-related stress.  Diplomatic ways to assert yourself and how to deal with difficult people will also be discussed.

Notary Public    

This workshop for new and established notaries will provide information to learn up-to-date notary public laws and responsibilities.  The seminar will review:  What are your legal duties as a notary, what the law allows and requires of you, what to do with records when you are no longer a notary and MUCH MORE.

SHRM Essentials of Human Resource Management      

An introductory course offering a comprehensive overview of human resource roles and responsibilities. It gives participants critical knowledge to help reduce potentially costly lawsuits and improves their ability to handle challenging HR issues.  This course is ideal for those who are just starting out in the human resources profession, or those who are looking for an effective way to boost their employee management skills.

SHRM Learning System®    

The SHRM Learning System® is designed primarily as a certification preparation course for the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) PHR® and SPHR® examinations.  Join other professionals in this interactive and dynamic classroom environment!
