The Digital Graphics degree emphasizes graphic design, print media, and web design, but also includes fundamentals in animation, multimedia, and digital film. Students may choose to pursue certificates in specialized areas such as graphic design, web design, video production, game design, animation, and crew member training and certification.

Educational Pathways

There are several transition tracks available that open the way for graduates of the Creative Media and Digital Graphics associate degree programs to continue their education at New Mexico State University or other educational institutions. At NMSU, they may pursue bachelor’s degrees through the Creative Media Institute. Other possibilities include bachelor’s degree programs in information communications technology, art, and individualized studies. High school students who are interested in a career in creative media are encouraged to take courses in art, photography, English, and mathematics.
