NOTES:

  1. Students must complete math basic skills requirement (grade of C or better in CCDM 114N, MATH 210G, MATH 111/112G, MATH 120, or higher MATH course) for an associate of arts degree. Check appropriate college/university catalog to determine appropriate math course for intended bachelor’s degree. For example, MATH 111/112G is for elementary education majors.

  2. Electives: Courses with the “N” designation following the course number do not count as electives. A maximum of nine applied credits, taken in any combination, are accepted as electives for the Associate of Arts degree. Applied courses can often be identified by a prefix starting with the letters “OE-”, although there are some exceptions (e.g., BOT, COLL). Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree are strongly encouraged to consult with advisors at both DACC and NMSU early in their associate degree program to ensure that their elective credits will apply toward the requirements in their selected bachelor’s degree.

  3. Students must complete all English basic skills requirements with a C or better.
